Mulligatawny Soup- During the winter months, nothing hits the spot quite like a chicken and rice soup. Not only do you get the benefits of the protein and collagen in this soup from the organic chicken, but the added delicious warming elements of curry spice and a little sweetness from grated apple. Cozy, nourishing and freezer friendly, this soup is a winter classic!

Winter Kitchari- A traditional ayurvedic grain dish that is prepared with digestive herbs that are delicious and help support healthy and comfortable digestion. Made with mung dal and basmati rice, despite being meat-free, this dish is high in protein and fiber which helps satiate even the biggest appetite. For the winter, sweet potato and chard are added for color, nutrients and fiber. By adding gently cooked vegetables, the postpartum body is nourished while not compromising digestive comfort.

Coconut Chickpea Curry- Chickpeas are a true powerhouse of fiber, protein and magnesium. This delicious, tomato-based curry dish is a wonderful addition to your postpartum fridge. Cooked with the traditional warming spices of ayurveda, coconut milk creates a vegan creamy base that is delicious but won’t cause digestive discomfort. Warming and satisfying, wonderful served over rice or quinoa.

Winter Root Vegetable Soup- During the winter, it’s important to feed our bodies the vegetables that are in season. Root vegetables not only provide the necessary vitamins and nutrients for this time of year, they also provide a grounding energy during a time when energy can grow stagnant or chaotic. By eating root vegetables, we encourage wellness from the inside out. This delicious soup includes sweet potato, butternut squash and parsnips as well as fennel which adds a brightness to the flavors. Freezer friendly and wonderful as a main dish or a side.

Gluten Free Protein Bagels- These gluten free bagels are made with cottage cheese and yogurt, making them a great protein-filled snack or addition to breakfast. Seasoned with everything bagel spices, these are delicious as an egg sandwich or with your favorite cream cheese. These bagels come fully baked, sliced and frozen for easy meal or snack time use. All you have to do is place them in your toaster!

Dark Leafy Greens Mini Frittatas - During the winter months, eating dark leafy greens is vital for our health, but often a hard sell. These mini frittata bites make it much easier to enjoy the benefits of eating our greens without having to sacrifice digestive comfort. Chock full of sautéed kale and chard along with mushrooms and organic feta cheese, these egg bites are a great snack or breakfast go to.

Sweet Potato Brownies- Super fudgy and delicious, these brownies will satisfy your sweet tooth without making your bloodsugar do backflips. Made with almond flour, a whole sweet potato and nut butter, these brownies stay super moist and are amazing with a dollop of your favorite yogurt or ice cream.

Roasted Nuts- Having easy, satisfying snacks on hand is so helpful during the postpartum season. This blend of nuts includes blanched almonds, cashews and walnuts because of their robust supply of magnesium, selenium and inflammation reducing ALA. Gently roasted in avocado oil and warming spices with a touch of cayenne, these sweet and savory nuts are delicious and a great snack to keep close at hand when hunger strikes!

Citrus Cardamom Scones- These ready to bake scones are the perfect treat to keep in your freezer. Made with bright hints of citrus and the warming spice of cardamom, they are perfect with a cup of your favorite tea or chai. Made without white flour or white sugar, they are more blood sugar friendly than most baked goods, but are still delicious, especially when enjoyed nice and warm from the oven.

These bites are perfect to keep on hand for easy, protein rich and blood sugar balancing snacking. Fudgy, but not too sweet, they keep beautifully in your fridge or freezer.

Golden Milk tonic- In the winter, our bodies often need extra support when it comes to inflammation. Turmeric is an incredible ally during this season for just that reason. This caffeine-free tea is a delicious blend of ginger, turmeric and cinnamon simmered gently within an oatmilk and coconut cream base. Sweetened with organic maple syrup, this milk tonic is delicious as a little pick me up or a before bed treat.

Oatmilk Chai- A long standing favorite, this oat-milk based chai is brewed over the course of 12 hours. Organic oat milk is infused with star anise, cinnamon stick, fresh ginger and bright cardamom seed. Particularly good for nursing mothers and parents since oats help support milk production.

Chicken bone broth-On a chilly morning, there is nothing better than a delicious cup of bone broth. Full of protein and natural collagen, this bone broth is brewed over the course of 24 hours to ensure the absolute highest content of all of it’s nourishing elements. Wonderful on it’s own or as a base for your favorite soup or noodle bowl.
